About the Denver Achievement Academy
The Denver Achievement Academy (DAA) is a local nonprofit that provides youth enrichment opportunities for students ages 10 -14. And, DAA connects with high school students providing college prep resources and service opportunities.  DAA is serving youth in northeast and west Denver and began providing after school programming for underserved students in 2010.  The Denver Achievement Academy provides underserved youth with a pathway for success in life creating viable, deep-impact, and comprehensive programs to enhance academic performance, develop decision making skills, promote leadership, cultivate critical thinking, build proficiency in sports-for-life, and nurture personal growth through student centered activities emphasizing service to others.

Registration Fees

Event registration is closed

  • Make a donation to support summer activities 
  • Sponsor a high school senior 
  • Cover meals for students over the summer     
  • Volunteer and become a tutor and/or a mentor
  • Offer to teach a class or speak on a topic this fall
  • Add value to the experience by sharing yours
  • Donate items for use at silent auctions



Prizes to fundraisers will be announced Mid-May. Prizes will be awarded to top fundraisers raising at least $500.00. Encourage others to donate to your team and become a prize winner!

First Prize Winner - A weekend stay at Beaver Creek Resort

Second Prize Winner - A golf outing and dinner for four at The Ranch

Third Prize Winner - Tickets for a family of four at ElDorado Springs Spa

Consolation prizes for individuals raising $250.00 or more for DAA!

DAA is offering a prize for the cutest pooch! Prize Awarded on the day of the event. WE HAVE A WINNER!

DAA's Annual 5k Event -- Beautiful Weather

The 5k is designed to raise funds that will enable us to support our mission, under-served students and families in the Denver community. DAA created this fun-filled event to encourage healthy lifestyles, celebrate eight years of service and provide a way for donors, students, volunteers and other supporters to connect and enjoy a "fun" filled activity.

Fundraising for this event continues thru early May
